- Aguas de Mondariz continues to support Galician sport with the signing of a sponsorship deal with Manuel Garrido, three times world champion in the under-23 C1 kayak marathon class, helping with the career of this young sportsman from Tui Kayak Club.

Manuel Garrido began the 2012 season in the top category, hoping to continue with wins in both the track and marathon events. His aim in the forthcoming competitions is to reach the top of the podium in both the Spanish and World Championships. In the autumn he will be looking to repeat his win of the World title in the senior category, which he has already won three times in the under-23 category. The long-term ambition of the kayaker from Tui is to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.

Through this sponsorship deal, Aguas de Mondariz continues to support Galician sport. The company has renewed its sponsorship of the Mecos Rowing Club, representing 21 years of dedication and commitment to this historic club from the town of O Grove. The Galician company is also collaborating with the Mondariz Children’s Football School to promote the sport amongst young people.
