Aguas de Mondariz has launched a new publicity campaign with the slogan “Drink Mondariz. It does you good,” aimed at strengthening its position as a market leader in terms of quality, tradition and sustainability in the natural mineral water market. 

The new campaign is based on three main ideas featuring the messages Aguas de Mondariz aims to transmit to consumers, all of which describe typical, unique features of the brand. The campaign will revolve around the items: “Born in Galicia 139 years ago”; “Produced in protected natural surroundings” and “Filtered for more than 100 years by nature,” all of which respond to the character of Aguas de Mondariz as a Galician natural mineral water brand with 139 years of history, which has been capable of adapting to a modern market with a sustainable management model.

The campaign designed by Aguas de Mondariz, which will be seen throughout the whole of Galicia, will involve promotional actions in different regional media.

Quality, tradition and sustainability

The key features of the new campaign launched by Aguas de Mondariz are based on the origins of the brand, associated with the spa and medicinal waters of Mondariz, which were declared as a Public Utility in 1873 and first sold in 1877. This makes Aguas de Mondariz a brand with its own history and tradition which today, 139 years later, continues to bottle natural mineral water from a single source, guaranteeing that consumers can enjoy drinking the same water in any part of the world.

The water bottled by Aguas de Mondariz filters through the subsoil over a period ranging between 60 and 120 years, giving it a very balanced mineral composition. It is also catalogued as a medicinal mineral water, rich in iron and other minerals, making it extremely healthy and ideal for people who are sensitive to anything but the purest products.

The springs are also located in an area within the European Commission’s Natura 2000 Network, a nature reserve that guarantees the conservation of the zone, as well as the quality of its waters and springs. This fact, together with the emphasis that Aguas de Mondariz places on protecting the environment, means that the brand applies a sustainable business model for the extraction and bottling of mineral water.
