Coinciding with the Year of Books and Reading in Galice, this week Santiago hosts the first International Encounter of Travel Literature (LITVI), sponsored by Xacobeo 2010, Iberia and Aguas de Mondariz, the official water of the encounter and of the Compostela Holy Year.
LITVI 2010 is a great cultural event addressed to travellers and all those who love travel books and narratives focused on journeys. It is a ludic event like no other one in any place of the world. The aim is that it will have a future continuity with its turning into a forum of knowledge exchange and a meeting place for publishers, authors and literary agents.
Therefore, Aguas de Mondariz, a century-old brand linked from the very beginning with the age of artistic and literary splendour centred on the Mondariz spa at the end of the nineteenth century and beginning of the twentieth century, wishes to collaborate with the celebration of this event.
