Aguas de Mondariz’s philosophy is oriented towards the search for the least possible impact, by reducing weights of bottling materials and by introducing materials that have a minimum environmental impact thereby improving or maintaining quality of its products.

The company has implemented a waste treatment system that seeks to reuse and recycle as opposed to discarding on dump sites. About 95% of the wastes generated during the production process are destined for recycling and reuse.

For reusable glass bottle formats, Aguas de Mondariz uses a deposit, return and refund system where clients pay a set amount per bottle which is then refunded when bottles are returned.

Plastic and recyclable glass bottles have a green dot on their label that indicates that the company is part of the Ecoembes Integrated Bottle Management System, that ensures proper management of bottles and packaging wastes.
