The importance of hydration in summer

In summer, the heat, increased activity, more hours of daylight and longer sun exposure cause us to lose more body water and we can become dehydrated without even noticing it.  It is therefore essential that we know the best way to rehydrate ourselves.

Both the World Health Organization (WHO) and specialists in nutrition recommend a daily water intake of between 2 and 3 litres, depending on age, weight and sex, since this is the amount of liquid we normally lose each day and need to replenish.
